Invitation
On behalf of the conference organizing committees, we are pleased to invite you to attend the International Symposium for Radiation Research and Medical Physics which will be held in Shanghai, China from May 31 to June 2, 2011. This symposium is a satellite meeting to Heavy Ion Symposium 2011, under the sponsorship of Fudan University China, Beijing Institute of Radiation Medicine, NASA Space Radiation Program USA, and the Professional Committee of Radiation and Environmental Biophysics of the Biophysical Society of China. The symposium will feature multi-disciplinary studies and provide a forum for scientific researchers to exchange their ideas and discuss recent scientific data and findings including but not limited to the effects of space radiation and its risk to astronaut health, the fundamental radiobiological effects and its molecular mechanisms, the recent development in radiation dosimeter and the advances on the radiation application from medical physics to the clinical therapy. The symposium will be structured as invited, oral, and poster presentations.
