Led by VP Chen, delegations from our center joined the 2nd CIM TFT workshop in Korea on the 1st of Dec. At the 1st workshop, we agreed to put our knowledge, experience and skills together in order to develop a new paradigm of medicine, that is CIM. It is our goal to increase the chances of a cure for perceived incurable diseases and to improve the patient's quality of life. In detail, to achieve our purpose, we organized the CIM TFTs, created a CIM journal society, and presented diverse research products focusing on CIM target diseases.

The 2nd Workshop is to enhance and foster our CIM project concertedly and effectively.

Therefore, the main agenda for the 2nd workshop are:

1) to activate our journal society. We will discuss the rule/management guidelines of the society and publish the 1st collection of dissertations.

2) to exchange our clinical skills and experiences of CIM. We will first present acupuncture cases and clinical trials regarding CIM target diseases.

3) to propose joint research for acupuncture studies (e.g. clinical trials or case studies, reports etc.). We will discuss how to choose the study items/ methodologies/ processes/ incentives and finances such as expenses and a common fund, etc.

4) to share information on the integrative diagnosis SOP guideline and the prescriptions of East plus West drug taking for the target disease, and the degree of their efficacy and safety. For example, animal studies/ clinical trials etc. We need to activate the TFT of each section.
