From July 10th to July 11th, NATURE MASTERCLASSES were successfully held at Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center(FUSCC). Nature Publishing Group (NPG) is a publisher of high impact scientific and medical information in print and online. NPG publishes journals, online databases, and services across the life, physical, chemical and applied sciences and clinical medicine. NPG has a long history and has become a top-ranked academic publisher in the world. This training was organized by FUSCC international affairs office, and two experienced nature magazine editors were invited to give lectures. They are Sarah Seton-Rogers, Chief Editor from Nature Reviews Cancer, and Laurie Dempsey, Senior Editor from Nature immunology. Two-days training program attracted 30 selected outstanding clinical doctors and laboratory researchers to attend. FUSCC VP Prof. Dingwei Ye made a welcome speech at the opening ceremony, he encouraged colleagues to cherish this learning opportunity and take an active role in the participation and discussion. The objective of the training is help audiences to understand three questions:

1. How to get the most out of the writing process
2. Editorial processes and how to work with them

3. What it takes to get published in top-ranked journals
