August 24th, Mr. David C. Read, Administration VP of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) came to visit Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center. Professor Dingwei Ye, VP of FUSCC, Professor Cheng Xi, Director of FUSCC International Affairs Office and other related clinicians attended welcome ceremony.

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) established in 1974, owns one honorable fellow who got Nobel Prize. DFCI was affiliated to Harvard University Hospital, located in Boston Longwood medical area which is closed to Harvard Medical School, Brigham Women and Children Hospital. Mr. David C. Read’s visit is to strengthen communication between two institutions and create opportunity for future cooperation. Professor Dingwei Ye, represented FUSCC senior managerial leaders extended a warm welcome to the guest, after that, along with Professor Cheng Xi had a private meeting. The meeting intensively discussed issues include institution cooperation, clinical trials, physician training program and etc.
