Title:ProfessorEducation & Professional Experience Xianghuo He has received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from East China Normal University in 1995 and 1998 respectively, and obtained his Ph.D. degree from Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University in 2003. From 2003 through 2006, Dr. He began his research on cancer cell signaling as a Postdoctoral research fellow at Department of Molecular & Cellular Oncology, UT M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. In 2006, Dr. He was recruited to State Key Laboratory of Oncogenes & Related Genes, Shanghai Cancer Institute, and was appointed as the Principal Investigator (PI) of Section of Functional Genomics in the national key laboratory from April, 2006 to December, 2013. Now Dr. He is appointed as PI and professor at Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center and Institutes of Biomedical Sciences, Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University.
Specialty Dr. He is currently engaged in his scientific research on Non-coding RNAs, Cancer genomics and genetics, Transcriptional regulation and epigenetics. Research The research interests in Dr. He’s lab are now shedding light on the molecular mechanisms of non-coding RNAs in tumor development, progression and metastasis; the oncogene/tumor suppressor gene related cellular signaling pathways in the tumorigenesis; and the genetic and epigenetic alterations of liver cancer, etc. Publication Dr. He has published more than 70 papers in Nature Cell Biology, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Cell Research, Cancer Research, Oncogene, Nucleic Acids Research, Clinical Cancer Research, Molecular Oncology, Carcinogenesis, etc.
